 Dr. Brock J. Barras, DDS Dr. Brock Barras is a native of New Iberia and a graduate of New Iberia Senior High. He is also a 2001 graduate of UL of Lafayette where he earned his BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry and English. In 2005, Dr. Barras graduated from the LSU School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He is the son of Roland and Mitzi Barras of New Iberia. Brock is an avid sports fan and he also enjoys fishing. He enjoys spending time with friends and family.
 Dr. Christy B. Barras, DDS Dr. Christy Barras is a native of Plaquemine and a 1997 graduate of St. John High School. She is also a 2002 graduate of UL of Lafayette where she earned her BS with a major in Microbiology and a minor in Chemistry. In 2006, Dr. Barras graduated from the LSU School of Dentistry in which she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery. She is the daughter of Wayne and Darlene Billings of Plaquemine. Christy enjoys being an active new mom and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Brock and Christy Barras are members of the ADA, LDA, ADDA, ICOI. In order to provide our patients with the best possible care, Drs. Barras attend numerous continuing education seminars throughout the year. Through these courses they are able to keep up with the state of the art treatment and technologies available.
Brock and Christy were married in September of 2005, and have three daughters. Mazie, who was born in February 2007, Caroline who was born in April of 2008, and Julia was born in April 2010.
Both Brock and Christy strive to establish relationships with patients along with taking care of all their dental needs.
 Dr. J. W. Barrois, DDS Dr. Barrois is a native of New Orleans and is the son of Mr. And Mrs. Joseph Barrois. He is a graduate of Jesuit High School and Loyola University. He also graduated from Loyola School of Dentistry in 1970. Thereafter, he entered the U.S. Army and served for two years at fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina, where he did advanced training in all specialties of dentistry. He then came to Lafayette and practiced in association with Dr. Sam Foreman for five years and then went into solo practice.
He is married to the former Brenda Foreman, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Sam Foreman, and they have three children: Leigh Ann, Will and Joe.
Dr. Barrois is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the Acadiana District Dental Association, the Evangeline Study Club, the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is on staff at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Dr. Barrois has been in the General Practice of Dentistry since July of 1970 and has been primarily involved with the treatment of adult patients with T.M.J. Dysfunction; fully and partially edentulous patients requiring dental implants; crown and bridge reconstruction, cosmetic dental care, endodontic (root canals), and third molar extractions.
